NASHVILLE PUSSY Filming Live Shows For Upcoming DVD

October 9, 2006

NASHVILLE PUSSY guitarist Ruyter Suys has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"Last night in Edmonton was absolutely fantastic. We ended the show with AC/DC's 'You Shook Me All Night Long' with Mikey and Vince from [support band] PRIESTESS running around pouring liquor down our throats and the guys from PRIDE TIGER fucking breakdancing! They threatened to do it in Saskatoon and sure enough, they even did the worm! The audience was perfect, lots a long haired rockers air punching all night, just the way I like 'em. Some guy tried to propose to Karen [Cuda, bass] during the show. But he was wearing a MORRISSEY shirt, so Blaine [Cartwright, guitar/vocals] said no on her behalf! Also we have been filming every night for our new DVD so if you are in the front row there is a chance you'll be on it!"

NASHVILLE PUSSY's latest album, "Get Some", was released in September 2005 via SPV Records. The CD was produced by Daniel Rey (RAMONES) and mixed by Glen Robinson (VOIVOD, ANNIHILATOR). It features a cover version of IKE & TINA TURNER's "Nutbush City Limits".

NASHVILLE PUSSY has been added to select dates on the upcoming SKID ROW/KING'S X U.S. tour.
